	Gift March 19	TVguide review		Excellent performances by Jane's Addiction coupled with terrible acting from Perry and Casey. Lots of drug use.
	Batman (the 1966 original!) March 12	Rotten Tomatoes review		"The whole movie feels like a 30 minute episode in which the director told the actors to speak slowly so that they could try to shoot enough film stock to make it into a feature length movie."
	Johns March 5	Roger Ebert review		A somewhat romanticized story of male prostitutes in LA. I liked it, but I think that i'd give it two stars, because something just wasn't there. I think that maybe the characters weren't developed enough.
	Dogtown and Z-Boys February 26	Roger Ebert review		A history of the beginnings of skateboarding as we know it, told through the eyes of Stacy Peralta, of Powell-Peralta fame. Everyone liked this movie.
	CQ February 19	movieclub.com review	40	An amateur filmmaker in the 60's, working on his own project, gets thrust into directing a science fiction movie, set in the year 2001. It looked great, but it was on the boring side.

	Bagdad Cafe February 12	Roger Ebert review		A German woman abandoned in the mojave desert is taken in at an odd cafe in the middle of nowhere and meets some strange characters. It went on 20 minutes after i thought that it had ended.
	Amelie Februaruy 5	Roger Ebert review		A fantastic movie about a woman who overcomes a sad childhood to bring joy to others, By Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who did Delicatessen and The City of Lost Children. How can you not like this movie?
	Pink Flamingos January 29	Roger Ebert review		This is the movie that made John Waters famous, and quite possibly the film that made bad taste cool.
	Koyaanisqatsi January 22	Film web site		First-time filmmaker Godfrey Reggio's experimental documentary from 1983--shot mostly in the desert Southwest and New York City on a tiny budget with no script, then attractied the support of Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas.
	Ghost World January 15	Roger Ebert review	35	Thora Birch and Steve Muscemi play in a great movie based on a Daniel Clowes comic. There will be a quiz and discussion afterwords.
	Cannibal! the musical January 8	Rotten Tomatoes reviews		A hilarious, sometimes gross musical buy Trey Parker of South Park fame. I think that they did this while still in college!
	Y tu Mamá También January 1	Ebert review		A really well reviewed movie that gets deep into sexuality and the rifts between the classes in Mexico.
